The Role: As a Senior Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for managing and expanding key corporate banking relationships, originating new business opportunities, and delivering tailored financial solutions to a broad client base. You will collaborate with product specialists and international teams to drive strategic growth and ensure high-quality client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and strengthen relationships with corporate clients, enhancing product and geographical coverage
- Identify and originate new business opportunities in line with the bank’s growth strategy and risk appetite
- Act as the bank’s primary representative to clients and prospects, presenting financial solutions up to Board level
- Lead, negotiate, and close new transactions in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with credit quality, KYC requirements, and other regulatory standards
- Develop strategic client account plans to drive business growth and risk management
- Foster a collaborative, client-focused culture within the team, sharing knowledge and best practices
- Fluent in German a must, English a positive also
- Master’s degree in finance, banking, economics, or a related field (CFA or equivalent certification is a plus)
- 5-7+ years of experience in relationship management, corporate banking, or financial services
- Strong commercial drive with a track record of winning new business and closing transactions
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Solid understanding of corporate banking products, including credit risk, treasury services, financial markets, and capital markets
- Experience with KYC and regulatory compliance requirements
- Eligible to work in Switzerland
