We are currently seeking a motivated and proactive Prudential Risk Manager to join our Risk and Compliance team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing second-line oversight for prudential risk across key areas including Capital, Liquidity, and Interest Rate risk. You’ll work closely with senior management, regulators, and external auditors, and play a crucial role in helping to ensure the Bank adheres to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prudential Risk Oversight:
- Support the development and management of the Bank’s risk framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Offer subject matter expertise in areas such as Capital, Liquidity, and Interest Rate Risk, and provide second-line challenge to risk management practices.
- Regulatory Documentation & Reporting:
- Contribute to the review and challenge of key regulatory documents, including ICAAP, ILAAP, and Recovery Plans.
- Ensure the Bank’s policies and practices adhere to regulatory expectations and good market practices.
- Analytics & Risk Appetite:
- Assist in the development and refinement of the Bank’s Prudential Risk Appetite Framework.
- Support risk analysis and provide valuable insights into risk measurement and management.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work with various departments including Treasury, Finance, and senior management to ensure risk management practices are effectively implemented across the Bank.
- Model Risk Management:
- Provide oversight and support for the Bank’s Model Risk Management (MRM) framework.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in risk management or a related field (financial services, Treasury, or finance-related).
- Strong understanding of risk management concepts, especially around Capital, Liquidity, and Interest Rate Risk.
- Excellent analytical skills with experience in Excel and the ability to assess financial risk data.
- Some experience with prudential regulatory frameworks such as ICAAP, ILAAP, and Recovery Planning is helpful but not essential.
- A keen interest in developing your expertise in risk management and regulatory compliance.
