Our client, mid-sized private equity firm are looking to bring in an experienced accounting professional to strengthen their local team in Luxembourg. All accounting within this business is done entirely in-house.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Handle the day-to-day accounting of some entities of the group and is in support for the group accounting consolidation
- Prepare the tax and legal reports (monthly VAT, annual VAT, Net Wealth Tax, Company tax, annual accounts, ...)
- Contributes to the accounting of the investment transactions
- Prepare the daily cash monitoring and management
- Prepare and ensure the follow-up of financial and other external audits
- Assist at the valuation process and controls of the fund of fund activities
- Take care of document management and archiving of finance supporting documents
- Portfolio management
Essential Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience within private equity accounting in Luxembourg or Belgium
- Experience across private equity or venture capital fund accounting
- Fluent in French and English
- You will need experience across these 6 components to be considered: accounting, reporting, cash management, tax, controlling and portfolio management
