In 2015, Ben Adams founded Broadgate with a clear vision: to create a recruitment agency built on people, culture, and excellence. Through its drive to reshape the recruitment industry for the better, Broadgate grew quickly, attracting a range of best-in-class recruiters to the business.

Ben and the team soon partnered with the most exciting regulated businesses across the UK, Ireland, Luxembourg, Switzerland, and the US, laying the foundations for Broadgate's international growth.

Following the launch of Broadgate's Dublin office in 2018, Ben co-founded a second recruitment brand, BioTalent, to apply his trademark energy and values to the life sciences sector. Alongside Ashley Lawrence and David Young, he founded Trinnovo Group, bringing together three specialised recruitment brands (Broadgate, Trust in SODA, and BioTalent) under one roof. His success earned him the NatWest Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2019.

In 2021, Ben moved into a Group role as Chief Commercial Officer before taking on the responsibility of Trinnovo Group Managing Director for the US. After opening an office in Boston, Ben returned to the UK to lead the global Broadgate team from Trinnovo Group's London HQ.

Ben divested BioTalent in 2023, leading to the strategic repositioning of Trinnovo Group, the launch of robotics and AI recruitment brand, DeepRec.ai, and the group's successful expansion into the Swiss market.

In 2024, Ben was listed on Hurun UK's 'Under 35s Entrepreneurs to Watch in 2024' list, a list that recognises British Entrepreneurs pushing the UK economy to new heights.

Ben works closely with financial service Boards and CEOs, supporting them on C suite or INED appointments across the UK, Ireland and the US. Alongside his day-to-day responsibilities as an MD, Ben was an advisory board member at Kroo until January 2024, a digital challenger bank on a mission to change banking for the better. Ben is a senior advisor to Ex-Military Careers, our social enterprise that seeks to bridge the gap between the military and a fulfilling civilian career.
